Consumer unit upgrades

Your consumer unit is the centre point for all the electricity within your home. It is vital this is compliant to ensure you are not potentially at risk from electric shocks or possible fire. At Haigh Electrics we only use the highest standard of protection such as RCBO's from reliable brands and wholesalers. 

All our installations fall in line with the 18th edition amendment 2 BS-7671 wiring requirements, including an integral surge protective device which protects all of your electronic devices within your property in the event of a power surge.

We also label our consumer units with a printer tool which allows us to pin point exactly which circuit it controls, this greatly helps in emergency situations or in the case that a fault appears within your system it will be easier to locate costing less on investigation charges in the long run.

If your consumer unit is currently - Plastic, No RCD protection, Holes in and around the casing then you could be due an upgrade.
